Hello again everyone!
Well, the devil is still after TMQ!! This past week Danny
went to the hospital after a blackout at work. Tests showed everything
was ok, so we really don't know at this time what caused the blackout.
JT still is suffering with his feet. After a trip to the Indianapolis Zoo last Saturday, he could barely walk on Sunday. He is to go back to the podiatrist next Tuesday, so we will see what the doctor has in store for treatment/remedy.
Brad is still in hot pursuit of a job. He DID have a couple of tips
this past week on possibilities, so we are still in prayer that
something will come along.
That leaves Ron and Larry. To our knowledge they have been ok and
haven't been sick or visited by ole satan (that we know of anyway!!)
This week the group gets back on the road after a week off.
First up is a trip to Lynn, Indiana on Saturday, August 21st.
We will be singing outdoors on a semi-trailer bed for an antique car
and tractor show, put on by Arba Friends Church. The event runs from 1
to 4pm. Why not come out and see us if you are in the area?
Sunday, we travel to Plainfield, Indiana to visit a former associate pastor of JT's, Roger Foggin. Center Community Church
will be the place where TMQ will sing during the morning service,
beginning at 10:30am. A carry-in dinner will follow. This is one of our
favorite places to sing, and just happens, this time, to be an
anniversary of sorts. One year ago, Danny auditioned for TMQ at this
church, so this will be a special time for Danny.
On ahead this month, TMQ will be singing in the Gas City Park on Wednesday evening, August 25th at 7pm.
Eugene 'Beaner' Park is located just off the main drag in Gas City,
Indiana. Ed Jeffries is in charge of the event, and we are looking
forward to seeing many of our friends there that evening!
And finally, to close out August, we will be travelling to Young America, Indiana for an ice cream social/ gospel singing that starts at 4pm on August 29th. Joining
us for this event will be The Sonshine Boys Quartet, one of our
favorite groups of guys. You won't want to miss this event!! Young America is fairly close to Logansport, Indiana, in the northcentral part of Indiana.
Please keep our group in your prayers. We need all the prayer cover we can get while facing satan's schemes.
Until next time then,
Keep looking up, as you bow down to pray!
God bless you all!
Brad, Larry, Danny, JT, and Ron
