The Minister's Quartet

Boo!
Did we scare you? Well, it is getting that time of year, you know!
Just where has this year gone? Seems just yesterday it was monsoon season in the Spring, then life began in the oven in the Summer months, and now we're looking at fall, Thanksgiving, and, yes, Christmas!
But boy, what a year it has been for TMQ! And we want to say 'thank you' to all of you for making it all happen!
There's so much to tell you about what is currently happening in our ministry that we must move on, and quickly!!
 First up, this weekend!
The Minister's Quartet will be singing Saturday night at The Gospel Barn of Bluffton with one of Southern Gospel music's legendary groups, The Kingsmen!! The doors will open at 6pm, but you may want to come earlier than that, as seats will be at a premium for this event! Ron has talked to Bryan Hutson of The Kingsmen, and plans are that we will share the stage for a few songs with The Kingsmen before the night is over. So come prepared for a fabulous evening. AND, TMQ will be doing songs from their brand new cd project, "At Their Best", which will be available at our product table.
This new cd is getting rave reviews from just about everyone you talk to! We are so blessed to have this project available to you, and we are currently getting alot of airplay on radio stations all over the country! While at NQC last month we handed radio dj's over 30 copies of this new project. We were interviewed on a radio station with over a dozen affiliates, and while we were interviewed 2 of our new songs were played. Currently we are being heard on XM channel 18, a satellite station for Southern Gospel only, and we were heard 2 weeks in a row on 'Phipps Gospel Sing' radio broadcast, not to mention Heirwave Radio on the internet!! So, we are excited to see how God is using this new cd!
Mark this date on the calendar--November 19th. On that night in Kokomo, Indiana, Spoken 4 Quartet from Branson, Missouri, along with TMQ and The Sonshine Boys from Logansport, Indiana, will be singing together at The Grotto. That's on highway 31 at the edge of Kokomo. This will be a dinner and a show type event, and tickets for the event can be obtained from any member of The Sonshine Boys Quartet. For more information contact Larry Pierce of The Sonshine Boys Quartet.
We also want to take the time to make an announcement of epic proportions!!
Beginning in January 2012 we will be booked non-exclusively by S&B Promotions. This is a new booking agency co-founded by Shawn Shannon and Dustin Bradshaw, of Muncie, Indiana. We are thrilled to join forces with these two guys that we have known and worked with for several years. BUT, this doesn't mean that you can't still call us for a booking without going thru them. Quite the contrary. If you would like to have TMQ come to your special event, please don't hesitate to continue to call me, JT, or to email me, just like you have been. But, please understand, our datebook will be filling up much more rapidly once we begin to be booked by S&B Promotions. So, again, call NOW! to get your special event scheduled!!
This announcement comes on the heels of our first national recording being released. Our first single will be released around December, officially, from Sonshine Group, the promotion end of Chapel Valley Studio, our recording company. Things are happening for us at such a rapid pace, it is hard to keep up!!
All of this excitement COULD cause some people concern about where our ministry is heading. BUT, let us assure you, we haven't changed our focus!!!! We are STILL The MINISTER's Quartet. We sing for Jesus. We minister for Jesus, and we share our testimony for Jesus. Without Jesus, we wouldn't exist!! Our MINISTRY is still about winning the lost for Christ through our music. That will NEVER change. What all the promotion, national recording, airplay, etc is about is to open new and broader doors of opportunity to reach even more people for Christ. It will NEVER be about just us.
That all being said, I will close by asking that you all continue to pray for our ministry. It is vitally important to us that you pray for us daily. We cherish your prayer support, as well as your being at our concerts and services. Without you, none of this would be possible.
Thank you for helping us help spread the Good News in song!!
 Until next time,
Keep looking up as you bow down to pray.
 God bless you all!
 Larry, Danny, JT, and Ron
